Academically qualified students from equity-deserving and historically under-represented groups. McMaster's Registrar specifies Ontario's Greater Golden Horseshoe area; its Access Program page says Hamilton and the surrounding area. Ask access1@mcmaster.ca if that distinction affects your eligibility.
Apply to McMaster through OUAC, then apply on AwardSpring with a short essay about the barriers you face and a reference. Opens November 1st, 2026. Closes February 19th, 2027, 11:59 PM ET.
Current information
Funding supports tuition, compulsory fees, books, equipment and living costs, with one guaranteed McMaster work experience. Renewable for up to four years.
