Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes

Applicants aged 8–18, not yet 19 on April 15, permanently and legally resident in the US or Canada with a social security number or valid tax ID. They must have led an extraordinary service activity that they mainly initiated and that was active in the past 12 months. At most two co-applicants may apply together; those under 16 need parental consent. Applicant must be currently residing in the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, or Canada. Residents of U.S. territories are not eligible to apply due to territories’ differences in contest rules.

Apply online. Each year's pre-application is due March 15 at 5 PM Mountain Time. Invited applicants submit the full application by April 15 at 5 PM Mountain Time. Fax, email and mail applications are not accepted.
