Ten scholarships worth $80,000 in total for Alberta rural farm youth beginning their first post-secondary program away from home. Awards are one at $20,000, one at $15,000, one at $10,000 and seven at $5,000. The 2026 application is closed; the annual window opens May 1, 2027.

You must be an Alberta rural farm young person, have graduated from high school, be no older than 25, need to leave home to pursue post-secondary education or a trade, and be entering the first year at a recognized post-secondary institution without having previously started or completed a post-secondary program. This award is open to all rural farm youth: 4-H experience is not mandatory to qualify.
The application opens May 1 and closes June 30 at noon each year. The 2026 application is closed. Applicants complete and submit the funder's application; applications are reviewed in the fall and successful recipients are notified by email in October. Check the funder's page when the 2027 window opens.
