For the closed 2026–27 round, applicants had to be currently attending or planning to attend a Canadian university or college program, in any year of study; reside in Canada; demonstrate an ongoing volunteer commitment; and have undergone or be undergoing treatment for cancer. Selected recipients had to confirm enrolment at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
The closed 2026–27 application required the three-page form, a statement from an oncologist or current physician confirming cancer treatment unless the student had applied previously, and a 300–500 word letter about the student's life experience, goals and reason for applying. The documents were combined into one PDF and emailed with the funder's required subject line. Check the funder's page for the next application.
