International students entering post-secondary studies for the first time at the University of Guelph-Humber are considered automatically for this renewable scholarship. Under the award levels effective Fall 2025, a 70–79.9% admission average earns $4,500 in first year and a 95% average earns $8,500, with $4,000 a year for years two, three and four if the renewal criteria are met — a four-year total of $16,500 to $20,500. Successful recipients are told about it with their offer of admission.

You must be an international student entering post-secondary studies for the first time and registering in the first semester of a degree program in the fall or winter semester, and you must pay the international student tuition and fees. Under the award levels effective Fall 2025 the first-year amount is $8,500 at 95.0% and greater, $7,500 at 90–94.9%, $6,500 at 85–89.9%, $5,500 at 80–84.9% and $4,500 at 70–79.9%, with a $4,000 renewal in years two, three and four. The scholarship is based on the higher of your offer of admission average or final admission average as calculated by Guelph-Humber's Admission Services, which determines averages for applicants outside a Canadian secondary school curriculum from that curriculum's grading practices and scale. To renew you must remain registered in full-time studies, achieve a minimum 80.0% average in your previous academic year of full-time study, and continue to pay international student tuition and fees.
There is no separate application: submit your application for admission and make sure Admission Services has all the documents it asks for, and the university considers your scholarship eligibility with your admission. Successful recipients are informed of the scholarship with their offer of admission, and it is applied to your student account in two equal payments over the fall and winter semesters. You must register full-time for both semesters in year one. Entrance scholarships cannot be deferred — students who defer their offer of admission are reconsidered the following year, subject to the availability of scholarships for that cohort.
