No application: automatically considered

A renewable scholarship of $4,000 CAD a year for up to four years — $16,000 in all — for international students entering post-secondary studies for the first time at the University of Guelph-Humber with a minimum 70% admission average. You are considered automatically and successful recipients are told with their offer of admission.

How to Apply

You must be an international student entering the first year of post-secondary studies for the first time, registering in the first semester of a degree program, with a minimum 70% admissions average, registered full-time for both the first and second semesters of year one, and paying the international student tuition and fees. To renew you must stay in a full-time course load and achieve a minimum 80.0% average in your previous academic year of full-time study, measured from your starting term, and continue to pay international student tuition and fees. It is renewable for three calendar years from the term of admission, and students who do not qualify for a renewable payment in one year are not considered in future years.

There is no separate application: submit your application for admission and make sure Admission Services has the documents it asks for. Successful recipients are informed with their offer of admission, and the scholarship is credited to your university account in two equal payments over the relevant two semesters. No renewals are issued for the summer semester. Entrance scholarships cannot be deferred — students who defer their offer of admission are reconsidered the following year, subject to the availability of scholarships for that cohort.
