How to Apply
- Eligibility
- Application
You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, landed immigrant or refugee and have been enrolled in Grade 8 or Grade 12 on January 1, 2026. Current post-secondary students are not eligible. The program considers character and leadership, academic responsibility and growth, school or community service, and financial need. Students outside Ontario may apply, and the scholarship can be used at an accredited post-secondary institution inside or outside Canada.
A student cannot apply directly. A school staff member must nominate the student, and the school must already participate in Future Aces educational programming, a Future Aces workshop, a Future Aces club, or the applicable Future Aces symposium or conference. Each eligible school may nominate up to two students per grade. After nomination, the student completes the official application and a personal essay in the permitted written, audio or video format. The 2026 application is closed; check the funder's page for the next cycle.
