How to Apply

You must be in your final year of high school and plan to begin at least two years of full-time study leading to a degree or diploma at a public college or university in Canada. You must earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, document family income of $148,000 or less, and have made a positive contribution to people with an intellectual disability. The award is available only in your first post-secondary year and you may apply once.

The program has two streams. Greater Toronto Area applicants submit through the ME & Lau Family Foundation; York Region applicants use the Community Living York South route named on the funder's scholarship page. The foundation may interview candidates. The documents linked from the page titled for 2027 still state a June 30, 2026 deadline and 2026 attendance, so this listing does not publish a 2027 deadline.

We last checked these details on 5 October 2026.
